This policy applies to all ESTC Instructors who have not maintained minimum

and for Instructors whose certification expires based on the date their

5. Instructors who fail the exam must wait 30 days, to rewrite. If the
Instructor fails a second time they shall be required to take the full

6. Instructors who do not recertify may, upon request, be reverted to
a basic student qualification and be administered a student certificate
for an administrative fee of $10. Payable in advance by cash, cheque,

Dear Instructors:
Hello ESTC Instructors. I have been diligently working to create a mailing list for all instructors so that I may provide general information and up dates on the ESTC program as necessary. There are a few minor details I need to address regarding administration of the program.
Please ensure you complete your paper work and return it to me within
5 business days of course completion.
I have up graded my data base system and will now be able to issue certificates
in a much more timely fashion (within two weeks of receiving the forms),
thank you for your patience on this manner.
Please ensure that student’s names are printed clearly, if necessary
please provide a computer print out of student names along with the forms
you return to the Council.
I will be issuing a new roster for registration of your participants please
start using this new roster once you have received it.
Please do not send me your exams and practical evaluations you must keep
those on file in the departments training records.
Please ensure course evaluations are sent with your class roster as required.
As a new policy classroom sessions must be kept to a maximum ratio of
20 students per instructor.
As a new policy practical evaluation sessions must be kept to a maximum
ratio of 16 students per instructor.
- we do apologize for the perceived inconvenience this may cause to larger
departments however to ensure quality of instruction and safety on the
road it is necessary to implement class size limits from this point forward.
I will be sending all instructors a copy of the current PPoint presentation and manual, please ensure your presentation and manual are up-to-date. This presentation will have to be sent in sections as the file will be quite large.
If you have any questions or comments on the ESTC Program please contact either me or the BCFTOA. So far this program seems to be going smoothly with the changes we’ve made along the way to ensure its effectiveness. I am always open to suggestions and input and am here to answer any questions you may have. I hope this message finds everyone well, and look forward to seeing many of you in Courtenay in May. I will be there providing training, but don’t hesitate to track me down.
Cheers
Lindsay Lambright, ESTC Program Facilitator
