Fire Officer Public Speaking Workshop
The ability to influence others with the spoken word is taking on an ever-increasing importance. Nowhere is competent public speaking more critical than in the fire service where training officers are required to inspire firefighters, officers are thrust into the media spotlight and chief officers are required to compete with other professional managers for public support.

BIO:
Tim has been a member of the Port Alberni Fire Department for 17 years, the last six as a deputy fire chief. Tim’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Physical Education (1985 UBC), Competent Toastmaster designation (2001), and a Diploma in Public Sector Management (2006 UVic).
Tim is an accomplished public speaker who facilitates public speaking workshops annually for City of Port Alberni employees and specializes in individual public speaking coaching.
