Overview: Attendee’s will participate in a variety of Live Fire training scenarios stressing “DOING THE RIGHT THINGS RIGHT”.
Instructors will demonstrate and reinforce vital information, skills and techniques that all firefighters should know to operate safely as a member of a fire attack team.
Note to attendees: All attendees will be subjected to the Comox Fire Training Centre REHAB POLICY and PROCEDURE (attached).
Live fire training will soil and could cause some damage to the attendees personal protective clothing. Due to the nature of this type of training we will not be held responsible for repairs or replacement. Following this training personal protective clothing should be cleaned and inspected.

Captain Bill Windram , Comox Fire Training Centre
Captain Bill Windram is a twenty-six year veteran of Comox Fire Rescue. Bill has worked as a lead Live Fire instructor at the Comox Fire Training Centre for over five years now and has presented training to hundreds of firefighters from dozens of different fire departments. Bill has completed Fire Officer Level 2, Incident Safety Officer, Fire Service Instructor Level 2, Fire Service Evaluator and Incident Command Level 300.
Bill currently works part-time for Comox Fire Rescue.

Lieutenant Corey Brooks is a twelve year veteran of Comox Fire Rescue.
Corey has worked as a lead Live Fire instructor at the Comox Fire Training Centre for over five years now and has presented training to hundreds of firefighters from dozens of different fire departments. Corey has completed Incident Safety Officer, Fire Service Instructor Level 2 and Incident Command Level 300.
Corey is a career firefighter with the Department of National Defense and also works part-time for Comox Fire Rescue.
